What is OneMoreRoom?


Four years ago an idea for a game came to my mind. It was vague and simplistic but it set me onto a 3-year path of discovering the world of game development that now brought me to you. It took a lot of learning and restarting from scratch but finally both my project as a game and I as a developer matured enough to share my idea with the world.

It all started with a simple question: "What happens after the Boss fight?"

A Boss fight usually marks the end of a game. You set onto an adventure, you grow stronger and wiser to finally face the one who set all the bad things into motion. And (usually after few tries) you defeat him. The End.

I decided to make a game where Boss fight is not the end. It is not even the hardest part! In OneMoreRoom you set onto an adventure into the underground to slay a monster. Firstly you explore and get stronger. At the end of the tunnel you face the Evil and destroy it! But after that you have to return to the surface.

Dungeon lets Venturers like you enter its depths, but it does not simply let you out. Now you are the pray. Stronger and stronger monsters attack you from every corner. Resources that before were plentiful at the beginning, now are a rarity. You will have to make it out with whatever you gathered before slaying the Boss!
